Shipping Policy

At Sarah Valley, every piece is handmade to order in our London workshop and shipped with care to customers across the UK and worldwide. Please read our shipping policy carefully so you know exactly what to expect when placing your order.

1. Shipping Costs

All orders ship free of charge, worldwide, with no minimum spend required.

Optional insured DHL shipping: for pieces priced over £2,500, we recommend upgrading to DHL Express insured shipping for extra peace of mind. This is optional and must be requested before your order is dispatched. The DHL shipping and insurance cost will be calculated based on your order value and destination, and will be added to your order total. Please get in touch with us at contact@sarahvalley.co.uk before checkout, or leave a note with your order, if you’d like this option.

Please note: Sarah Valley previously charged a shipping fee based on order value. As of July 2026, shipping is free across all destinations.

All orders are handmade to order and dispatched from our UK workshop. Estimated delivery times are as follows:

Please note that these are estimated timeframes only and may vary due to courier delays, customs processing for international orders, or busy periods such as Christmas and Valentine’s Day.

4. Shipping Method

All standard orders are sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery, Tracked and Signed, fully tracked with signature required on delivery, at no cost to you.

If you’d like your order sent via DHL Express with full insurance cover to the item’s value (recommended for pieces over £2,500), this must be requested before dispatch. The additional DHL shipping and insurance fee will be confirmed with you directly and added to your order. Once requested and confirmed, your order will be sent with DHL’s real-time tracking and signature required on delivery.

5. Customs & Import Duties (International Orders)

For orders shipped outside the UK, your parcel may be subject to customs duties, taxes, or import fees charged by your country’s customs authority. These charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in our shipping cost. We recommend checking your local customs rules before placing an international order.

6. Packaging

Every Sarah Valley order is carefully packed and dispatched in our signature Sarah Valley gift packaging, making it ready to give as a gift upon arrival.

7. Lost or Delayed Parcels

If your parcel has not arrived within the estimated timeframe, please contact us at contact@sarahvalley.co.uk with your order number. We will investigate with the courier on your behalf. Please note that international parcels can occasionally be delayed by customs, and we ask that you allow a few extra days before raising a concern.

8. Delivery Timeframes

Standard shipping (Royal Mail Special Delivery, Tracked and Signed), included free with every order:

  • UK: approximately 8–9 working days
  • Europe: approximately 10–14 working days
  • USA, Australia, Canada & Rest of World: approximately 12–18 working days

Optional DHL Express insured shipping, available on request for orders over £2,500, additional cost applies:

  • Typically faster than standard shipping. Exact timeframe and cost will be confirmed with you when you request this option.
